A phone charger, a lamp body, and an engine bay are different thermal jobs. This page is for a housing that sits near a warm component in air, not for flame-rated enclosures and not for food contact.
Heat-deflection or “temperature resistance” language is only useful when the test method and load stay attached. A catalog family note is not a thin-wall guarantee.
Family notes used here
Prusa’s ABS guidance treats warping and emissions as first-order drawbacks of a more heat-capable family. ABS ASA is documented as an outdoor-capable sibling with similar processing demands. ASA PLA remains a prototype family when the housing can stay cool; it is the wrong default next to a warm supply.
How to use the catalog
Open the material explorer with heat filtering. That filter shows families the catalog already marked with a high or good/high temperature note. It does not measure your printed wall.
Then check the installed printer in printer and material compatibility. A nozzle maximum is not an enclosure, a bed, or a filament-path answer.
If the same part will also live outdoors, use outdoor printed parts as a second pass. Do not collapse the two environments into one adjective.
